Releases Key New Information Omitted from Republican Letter

Washington, D.C. (July 17, 2013)—Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, as the top Democrat on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, sent a letter to Committee Chairman Darrell Issa criticizing his release in a letter earlier today of selected, partial excerpts from transcripts of interviews with IRS employees conducted by Committee staff.
